From design and galvano through Hell engraving, hard chrome, proofing, and packing — why a single Ahmedabad line matters for press-ready cylinders.
Ornate Print Tech was established in November 2013 as an electro-mechanically engraved cylinder manufacturer for the gravure industry. The plant is built around a complete in-house workflow — design, pre-press, galvano, polishing, engraving, hard chrome, proofing, and packaging.
Keeping those stages together means job data, hardness targets, and proof results stay connected. Circumference and surface are prepared on Daetwyler CFM systems; engraving runs on Hell K5-XL, K5, and K5 Smart with Xtreme head capability.
Before dispatch, cylinders are proofed on the actual substrate with colour and H/T checks. Scratch-proof packing protects the face until it reaches the press.
